- THLA Foundation Annual Scholarships. The THLA Foundation will be awarding cash scholarships at the THLA Annual Dinner on Thursday, April 25, 2019. The scholarship application and cover letter are attached. The deadline for submission of scholarship materials is Monday, February 4, 2019. Recipients will be notified in late February or mid-March 2019. Ideally recipients would be able to attend the THLA Annual Dinner to receive their scholarship checks. - California Bar Foundation Scholarship. The THLA Foundation, in conjunction with the California Bar Foundation, is again awarding a $5,000 bar study stipend to a law student who is or will be taking the 2019 bar exam in California. Students can apply directly through the California Bar Foundation website here: https://www.tfaforms.com/4708371. Student applicants should be sure to select the Tom Homann Law Association scholarship when applying (in addition to any other scholarship for which the student may be eligible). Applications are due by Monday, February 4, 2019. All questions regarding the CBF Scholarship should be directed to the California Bar Foundation.
